After a very busy fall our family was ready for some time together and some time away. We spent Christmas in Greenville and saw a lot of friends and spent a lot of time with family. It was wonderful! Here are some pictures from our Christmas vacation. . .

MERRY CHRISTMAS
from the Johns Family

Another Great Gift for Christmas

Just wanted to let everyone know that Hailey came through surgery great. Thank you for all your prayers. The surgeon says that everything went fantastic and looks good and we are very thankful that the Lord took care of her. We are excited about taking her home today.

Gifts from God

In this holiday season of giving we are always mindful of the greatest gift that God has given us, the gift of salvation through His Son. Our family has been so blessed in this past year with watching Ian continue to grow and develop and with the birth of our daughter, Hailey, a month ago. They are a daily reminder of God's love for us. Their preciousness to us has been brought even more into focus in the last few days as we have discovered that Hailey has a health issue that will require surgery tomorrow morning. The surgery should last about an hour and we would ask our friends and family to be praying about a few specific things.

1. That the Great Physician would guide the surgeon and his team

2. That there would not be the presence of infection

3. That her recovery would go well and be speedy

4. That we would have opportunities to be a witness and a testimony to the doctors and nurses

For the curious - Ian is loving life because he got to go and stay with his Grandmommy and Granddaddy for a couple of days.
