They say that rainy days will bring out the best strawberries to pick. So, Steve took off Monday morning and we ventured about 35 minutes away to Gilbert, SC to see what we could find. We had a wonderful time picking two gallons of strawberries, which Steve says are the most delicious that he has ever had, Ian loved them also.

What fun! Ian has a taste for strawberrys just like Steve. I remember Steve when he was just a toddler picking clean his uncle Hardy's strawberry patch. He didn't save any. He ate as he went with juice from his nose to his toes :)

I googled strawberry picking, sc, and your blog post was about 5-6 down on the list, thanks. This is where we've always picked, but it's been a few years and I couldn't remember the name. I wanted to see if the berries were ready for us. I'm taking my 3 year old granddaughter, so we'll have fun like you guys, I'm sure.
