Trip to Charleston

We decided to take a short two-day vacation before we start our busy summer. We had such a wonderful time in Charleston. It's so nice living in an area where the beach is less than two hours away. We did some site-seeing in Charleston and took Ian to the beach for the first time. He loved it and had a great time jumping in the waves with Steve. We also had the opportunity to see Alex and Leah Millan and their children. We had a picnic lunch with them down at Waterfront Park and let the kids play in the fountain. It was such a relaxing time.

The pictures are so sweet, and I'm so glad Ian loved the beach. I REALLY hope we can go to the beach with him some time. ~ Grandmommy

Very slick pictures!!! Tell Steve I have been thinking praying for him lately, and know that I will miss both of you up at camp this summer! Well see you later...and no fair with the whole beach thing.

Oh! Pray for Luke (McCarnan). He just had his appendix removed (after it burst) late last night or early this morning (which ever you prefer). He seems to be doing fine, but he will have to miss a large chunk of camp. So just pray. Thanks, cya.
